    subsistence, political and legal system, education and religion.
  4. Explain changes in family in different cultures.
  5. Understand the influence of modernization and globalization on family change throughout the world.
  6. Examine families from a variety of theoretical perspectives.
  7. Identify differences in educational resources around the world.
  8. Describe the concept of universal access to education.
