Selected Works
The following artifacts represent a selection of my work from each class completed for my master’s degree.
Chapters 1 and 2 reflect my growth and understanding of my professional journey and personal context within higher education. Chapters 3-7 represent my interests in supporting faculty, staff, and students in higher education who may benefit from support through programs and policy. These populations represent community members who endure inequitable practices due to campus structures built around normative expectations of white, straight, cisgender, “unencumbered” men that inhabited the academy without substantial challenge until recent history. These works offer background into the needs of these populations as well as suggestions for support. Chapter 8 addresses low-cost methods to approach employee acquisition and retention in an educational setting, particularly in light of the Great Resignation.
