Twenty-four bars
They’re nothing special
It’s what’s inside
But, when you lay
I can feel the beating
|
Twelve on each side
When they are alone
That counts
On top of me
Behind bars

Braxton Thompson is currently a sophomore at Oklahoma State University, and a Stillwater resident. He enjoys partaking in as many forms of creative expression as possible. When it comes to writing, he draws from his own experiences which may be, at times, a little concerning. He focuses on his queer experiences in rural Oklahoma, and the romantic travesties that come with it.
